How Much Does It Cost to Enter a CFA Cat Show? $65 to $75 for a First Entry, $125 to $145 for Two Cats, and the Half-Cage and Grooming Fees on Top
A CFA cat show has no single price. Each club sets its own entry fees, so the first cat costs $65 at one show and $75 at another before extras. This guide prices six U.S. shows from their 2026 announcements on cfa.org: Cleveland Persian Society (Akron, OH), a club in Norco, CA, Hawkeye State (Des Moines, IA), Nashville Cat Club, Saintly City (St. Paul, MN) and That's My Point (Plant City, FL). Totals are my arithmetic.

The first cat costs $65 to $75
The first entry is $65 at That's My Point, $70 at Cleveland, Hawkeye and Saintly City, and $75 at Nashville and Norco. Two cats come to $125 at That's My Point, $130 at Hawkeye, $135 at Cleveland and Saintly City, and $145 at Norco and Nashville. Nashville and That's My Point say fees include CFA and regional surcharges.
Other classes
Miscellaneous and AOV entries are $25 at Cleveland, Hawkeye and That's My Point, $45 at Norco and $55 at Nashville. For registration fees, see what CFA charges to register a cat.
Cage, space and catalog extras
An extra half cage is $15 in Norco, $20 at Nashville, Saintly City and That's My Point, and $25 at Cleveland and Hawkeye; Cleveland waives it with 3, 5 or 7 entries. Grooming space is $30 to $35; end of row is $15 to $20. Cleveland, Nashville and That's My Point no longer include a paper catalog: a printed copy is $7 at Nashville and $10 at the others, requested when you enter.

One cat with every extra
As an illustration, add a half cage, grooming space, end of row and a printed catalog to one cat. Cleveland: $70 + $25 + $35 + $15 + $10 = $155. That's My Point: $65 + $20 + $30 + $20 + $10 = $145. Nashville: $75 + $20 + $35 + $20 + $7 = $157.
Refund and late-fee rules
Cleveland, Nashville and That's My Point allow no refunds after confirmation or for failure to attend. Hawkeye, Saintly City and Norco refuse refunds for failure to bench. Returned checks cost $50 plus bank fees at Cleveland, Nashville and That's My Point, and $35 in Norco. That's My Point adds a $25 late fee to fees not received by 10/26/26.
Hotel rooms and pet fees
Rooms run $132 plus a $25 pet fee at Cleveland, $114 plus a $25 pet fee at Nashville, $123 plus tax at Saintly City, and $134 or $154 with no pet fee in Norco. The flyers do not say if the pet fee is per night.
Health rules to check
Hawkeye, Saintly City and Norco call themselves non-vetted shows. Every flyer strongly advises vaccination, and most recommend a negative FeLV test. Our guides cover cat vaccination prices and FeLV and FIV testing. For a dog-side comparison, see the AKC agility trial entry fee.
